Amigurumi Dogs Free Pattern

In this pattern, I completely shape the head before sewing it to the body. The dogs I’ve made range in size from 13cm to 22cm, depending on the yarn and hook used.

Materials and Abbreviations

Materials:

• Yarn A: Body color
• Yarn B: Ear and gauze color
• Hook: Size depends on yarn (see notes below)
• Safety eyes: Insert between rows 17 and 18
• Filler: For stuffing
• Felt: For speck details (optional)

    • Tighten the hole, hide the thread. Make a small tightening around the eyes, sew on a felt speck, and embroider the edge.

Additional Notes

• Assembly: Shape the head completely before sewing it to the body.
• Tightening: Do a small tightening in the area of the upper and lower legs before sewing them on.
• Size: The size of the dog depends on the yarn and hook used.
• Small dogs: YarnArt Begonia, hook 1.25
• Larger dogs: YarnArt Baby or Alize Softy, hook 2-2.5
• Ears: Can be sewn differently (see example photos).
• Sweater: Knitted separately with knitting needles to fit the size.
