Teddy Bear Sophia Amigurumi Free PDF Pattern

This amigurumi teddy bear is very simple to make. The first thing I want to mention is to prepare your chenille yarn. Today, I’m sharing a pattern for a very soft-textured teddy bear. The bear has a simple design with eyebrows and a soft pink color. Its arms and legs are very short, but here’s the good news: you can make this toy in no time.

Materials:

• Yarn: Himalaya Dolphin Baby (one skein) or Himalaya Dolphin Fine
• Crochet hook: 4.0 mm or 3.5 mm
• Eyes and nose to sew on
• Black yarn for embroidering the eyebrows
• Sewing needle and scissors
• Pastel crayon for cheeks
• Fiberfill for stuffing

Abbreviations:

• MR: Magic ring
• ch: Chain
• dec: Decrease
• st: Stitch
• sl st: Slip stitch
• sc: Single crochet
• inc: Increase

The legs, body, and head are crocheted in one piece.

Legs (Make 2):

1. 6 sc in MR (6)
2. (inc) x6 (12)
   3-5. 12 sc (3 rounds)

• Attach.
• Do not cut the yarn when finishing the second leg!

Joining the legs:

• From the second leg, join with a sl st to the first leg (24).

Continue crocheting the body in the round:

• Do not stuff with fiberfill.
• Close and leave a long tail for sewing.

Assembly:

• Sew the arms between rounds 15 and 16 of the body.
• Embroider the eyebrows and mouth with black yarn.
• Tint the cheeks using a dry pastel crayon.
